Free Arts

October 20th, 2016

Duration: Single Day
Date: Oct 20, 2016

Free Arts is a nonprofit with a mission to inspire hope in the lives of children who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness, through creative arts programs and mentorship.

We are looking for a group of volunteers who are willing to spare a few hours of their time for one of our wonderful events.

Art Swagger was founded in 2010 to help draw the Los Angeles architectural and design community closer through art and charity. Art Swagger LA now has dozens of supporting firms and hundreds of professionals participating in its annual charity fundraiser to support Free Arts and our programs. Art Swagger fuses design, art and the act of giving back through a single evening each year in which participants walk the Los Angeles downtown core along a series of Swagger Stops to view art and network with peers. The event culminates with an annual Finish Line Party where all walkers gather to celebrate art, food, friends and the greater Free Arts cause.

The event will be taken place on October 20th from 4pm -10pm at The Bloc in Downtown LA. We will be doing shifts if needed by the group. Each volunteer will have a different task to do or will be grouped with someone to help out during the event.
