Opening Party for Nkame: A Retrospective of Cubans Printmaker Belkis Ayon

Saturday, October 1 at Fowler Museum (Galleries, Courtyard, Amphitheatre)

Volunteers needed for check-in and ushering at opening party for Nkame.

Volunteers asked to wear all black and dress in comfortable shoes.

Volunteer shifts from 4-8pm. Snacks provided!!!

The exhibition was just featured on the front page of the LA Times arts section and we’ve seen a surge in RSVPs. The exhibition is extraordinary and volunteers would have the opportunity to enjoy the event and view the exhibition on Saturday. We are looking for 8-10 volunteers.

Don’t miss this opening party for Nkame with exciting Cuban dance rhythms by Ensemble Afrocubanos from 7-8 pm in the UCLA Art Council Amphitheater. Exhibition preview and reception in the Davis Courtyard.
