Festival Of Childhood

We are so excited to tell you that the Echo Parenting and Education will hold its Eleven Annual FestivaL formally known as The Center for Nonviolent Education and Parenting (CNVEP) will hold it’s annual Festival of Childhood; twenty five free booths of art and play all carrying the message of child development, self care, and nonviolence. It’s a day that honors and celebrates the children.
Festival of Childhood signifies the honoring of the child and is held in conjunction with The Day of Child, National Child Abuse Prevention Month and International Spank out Day. This is a FREE event, open to all; we will offer many fun opportunities for child’s play, learning and creativity. Among them: A Children’s Drum Circle with Sabina Sandoval from Free To Be Me Drum Circle, Mobile Skate Park, Face Painting, Gardening, Clay Play, Street Painting, and various musical presentations, including Klezmer Juice a new generation of Jewish soul musicians.

Festival of Childhood promotes Echo Parenting and Education mission; to teach effective nonviolent child raising practices based on empathy and compassion in order to deepen adult-child relationships and move toward a culture of peace and understanding.Echo Parenting and Education offers ongoing parenting classes, individual support and professional trainings.
