The Hammer is excited to host its fifth annual Family Day on Saturday, September 12th! Family Day is a large scale, FREE program that welcomes over 2,000 children and parents to create art projects with artist-led workstations.
This year’s Family Day is a celebration of the discoveries, risk taking, and creative problem solving that all take place in an artist’s studio. Participating artists include: Edgar Arceneaux, Onya Hogan-Finlay, Zac Monday, Ellen Gerdes, Michele Jaquis, and Marissa Magdalena.
Volunteers are essential to make this event a success! We are looking for 50 volunteers to help with setup/cleanup, workshop assistance, and greeting visitors.
We are looking for volunteers to assist both the day before and/or the day of the event.
