The Hammer is excited to host its seventh annual Family Day on Saturday, September 24th! Family Day is a large scale, FREE program that welcomes over 2,000 children and parents to create art projects with artist-led workstations.
This year’s Family Day is all about sparking conversations about important social and political issues, fostering community engagement, and inspiring the next generation to build a more just world. Participating artists include: Kim Abeles, AN.ONYMOUS, Ken Gonzales-Day, Jibade-Khalil Huffman, Christina Sanchez Juarez, and Clarissa Tossin.
Volunteers are essential to make this event a success! We are looking for 70 volunteers to help with setup/cleanup, workshop assistance, and greeting visitors.
Friday, September 23 (Set-up day): 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Friday, September 23 (Set-up day): 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
