exploretech.la is an annual event held at UCLA that aims to encourage and inspire high school students from underserved communities in the Greater Los Angeles area to pursue possibilities in computer science and technology.
Through panels, interactive workshops, and booths representing UCLA student organizations as well as industry, we hope to make computer science and technology more accessible to local high school students.

exploretech.la is back for another year! This time, we’re branching beyond computer science and tech to other engineering disciplines. exploretech.la is a day full of exciting workshops, panels, and booths in CS💻, tech📡, and engineering ⚙️. We seek to engage students from underserved areas in LA in the thriving tech scene on UCLA’s campus and hopefully, inspire them to pursue these possibilities!
We are looking for volunteers that can help us in this process! Volunteers will be responsible for making sure that the event runs smoothly and more importantly, that the students have a great experience. All majors are welcome, and no tech/engineering knowledge is required! YOU WILL GET A FREE T SHIRT!!! ✨
