Cyber Tutoring

September 27th, 2011

Cyber Tutoring is an amazing volunteer opportunity for busy students to give back. As a Cyber Tutor you will work with low -income high school students of Los Angeles, from the convenience of your home or on campus in-between classes.

Many of our students are aspiring to be the first in their families to attend college. We are in great need of college students who would like to volunteer their time to take on a role model position with our students, tutoring them in the basic subjects such as math, science, and English. The level of commitment required to become a Cyber Tutor is one-hour per week via Skype, for one semester of the student’s school year (~October-January &/or January-June).

While it may not seem like a huge amount of time to make an impact the hour spent each week with your student will not only help them with their studies but show that someone is invested in their future.
