Community Food Drive Volunteers Needed

December 2nd, 2010

Unite with AARP California and MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), a non-profit organization in the San Fernando Valley committed to break the bonds of poverty since the 1970s, in an organized Community Food Drive to be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at: Albertson’s, 18555 Devonshire Street, Northridge, CA 91344. We need enthusiastic and passionate Volunteers to: Encourage people to donate food items as they enter the store, Collect food donations to be picked up by MEND. There will be 2 shifts available: First shift is from 8am to 1pm and the second shift is from 12:30pm – 5pm. Refreshments and food will be provided for volunteers.Create the Good by signing up to volunteer and make a difference in our effort to end hunger.
