Our mission is to involve parents and communities in their children’s education to achieve lifelong success.
We need volunteer support at the annual GEAR UP 4 LA Family Summit – a college awareness and access event addressing summer melt for 12th grade students and their families.
Volunteers will help with setup, welcoming guests, food distribution and cleanup. This event will take place at Occidental College. If you are interested please contact Cynthia Perez at cperez@familiesinschools.org.
