Coaches Across Continents is a global leader in the sport for social impact movement. We partner with local organizations to implement our award-winning ‘Hat-Trick Initiative’ that focuses on local social issues such as: female empowerment, including gender equity; conflict resolution, including social inclusion; health and wellness, including HIV behavior change; and other life skills. Our key to success is a unique self-directed learning model that is based on our ‘Chance to Choice’ curriculum. In 2014 to date, we have worked in 21 countries with 51 implementing community partner programs. Overall, we have educated 2,171 community coaches who impacted a further 162,908 young people.
r As a volunteer coach you will work alongside other CAC coaches (volunteers and senior staff) at one or more of our partner programs. We typically stay at each partner program for 1-2 weeks. Depending on the length of your volunteering, you may volunteer in several communities and possibly several different countries during your trip. Prior to your departure we will provide you with coach training (see below), but you will also learn a lot in your first few days On-Field with the expectation that you are a full CAC coach by the end of your first week, capable of training local leaders at that time.
r We are currently looking for volunteers for our Summer 2015 programs. The deadline for all summer programs is January 1st, 2015.
