CoachArt’s mission is to create a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness. We serve chronically ill youth ages 5-18, their siblings and families.
r Our volunteering opportunities:
r 1) In-home lessons: Share your skills or hobbies with a student in their home for 8 weeks, typically 1 hour a week.
r 2) Clubs: Lead or support an 8-week club in the arts or athletics and interact with our students in a group setting.
r 3) And other opportunities such as in-hospital clubs, special events and more!
r How to become a volunteer:
r 1) Fill out an interest form on our website at http://coachart.org/volunteer/
r 2) View orientation video and submit an application.
r 3) Get trained on how to best interact with our students.
r And you’re good to go!
Time is flexible to accommodate a volunteer\'s schedule. All opportunities will be highlighted and available for sign-ups in a monthly newsletter. Minimum requirement is 8 hours of direct service a year to continue with our program.
