Duration: Single Day
Date: Mar 3, 2018 • 9AM - 8PM
The mission of the Chinese American Museum (CAM) is to foster a deeper understanding of, and appreciation for, America’s diverse heritage by researching, preserving, and sharing the history, rich cultural legacy, and continued contributions of Chinese Americans.
The Chinese American Museum’s annual Lantern Festival will take place at the El Pueblo Historical Monument on March 3, 2018 from 12pm-7pm.
We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with tasks such as set-up, arts and crafts, information booths, and more. We are in need of help during two shifts: 1-5p, and 5-8p. All volunteers will be provided with a CAM tee-shirt, a shift meal, and parking (if needed).
The day will be a celebration of Chinese-American Culture and is a great opportunity to learn more about and engage with the Chinese-American communities of Los Angeles. For more information about the event, please visit our website: http://camla.org/lalanternfestival/
Any interested volunteers should contact volunteers@camla.org as soon as possible. Pease feel to distribute this notice far and wide, and to contact us with questions. Thank you!
