r ABOUT THE POSITION: Seeking individuals 21 years of age and over to mentor our 16-17 year old YouthBuild Students. Our members are in the process of obtaining their high school diploma, while learning vocational skills, and leadership.
r Individuals interested in being mentors will be enrolled into our Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Mentor Program and will be required to complete a 3 month group mentoring program followed by a one-to-one match that lasts 12 consecutive months extending well beyond YouthBuild graduation, for a total of 15 months.
r Mentors must be available on Fridays and/or Saturdays to attend Mentor events. Mentors are screened through a three-layer process that includes an application, interview and a background check.
r An Orientation will be held on Thursday April. 16, 2015 at 5:30 pm on site.
r CCEO YOUTHBUILD: Century Center for Economic Opportunity (CCEO) YouthBuild is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to empower under-served young adults, ages 16-24, to rebuild their lives and communities through leadership, education and technical training.

Time commitment: 3 group mentoring meetings + 12 months of matched one-to-one mentoring.
The mentor orientation will be held on Thursday April. 16th at 5:30 pm @ 5021 Lennox Blvd. Lennox, CA 90304.
