Bruin Initiative

October 2nd, 2013

Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Oct 2, 2013
Last Day: May 28, 2014

Bruin Initiative at UCLA is a CSC organization dedicated to reducing educational disparities in Los Angeles by providing free SAT classes to deserving high school students. We were the first CSC project to undertake this mission, have been doing this for over 6 years, and have helped countless students improve their scores by over 300 points. We are currently looking for diverse, passionate students to volunteer with us for the upcoming school year. Volunteers are trained to help these students succeed on the SAT and mentor them through the college application process – no experience necessary! All SAT classes are conveniently located on the UCLA campus. There is a GREAT opportunity to gain communication and teamwork skills with the possibility of attaining a leadership role!
