Blondes vs Brunettes Football League

February 28th, 2013

Blondes vs Brunettes…who REALLY has more fun? At this powder puff game, they all do, but only one takes home the trophy!

The Young Professionals Committee of the SoCal Alzheimer’s Association is looking for smart, fun, athletic, passionate women to join our Blondes vs. Brunettes™ football league.

Two teams of women—divided to reflect the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes—will be competing on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Fairfax High School in a flag football game to raise awareness and funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease!

Please visit our site to sign-up for your choice of team (Blondes, Brunettes, Cheerleaders, Supporter), start raising awareness and attending your team practice! This is an amazing opportunity to volunteer and build lasting friendships with awesome young professionals in LA.

We’re looking for women over the age of 21 to play powder puff (flag) football or serve as cheerleaders. We need volunteers ASAP because practices are starting soon! Practice dates and times will be determined by coaches of each team once there are at least 25 girls per team!

We hope you’ll think of the people in your life who might have been touched by this disease, whether patient, family member or caregiver, it is devastating. Our goal is to, one day, have a world without Alzheimer’s. Until then, we need your help!

Please consider joining us for an incredible experience!
