American Street Kid, a feature length documentary that has just been completed, is the catalyst to bring awareness across the country to the plight of homeless youth. – www.americanstreetkid.com
NOW we’re recruiting both state leaders and team member volunteers to help us get this message out! We’re about to launch The Dollar Project – a grassroots, national campaign with the goal of raising one dollar from a million people to fuel the American Street Kid Movement by getting the film in theaters, on a national tour, and continue the growth of the Spare Some Change Mentoring Program.
What we are looking for in local volunteers are people who can help with:
Internet research – such as reaching out to bloggers and journalists
Social Media – managing and tracking, updating posts you’re provided, etc
Phone calls – as they arise
Emails – maintaining contact with team leaders
We’d LOVE to hear from you and incorporate your talents into the team!
Spare Some Change, is a registered 501c3, non-profit organization and our mission is to:
Utilize the arts & media to raise awareness for homeless youth.
Create a one-on-one mentoring program and build a new kind of housing & healing facility that helps kids get and stay off the streets for good!
