Volunteers will be working with individuals in our bridge housing site. These individuals are staying in shelter beds while working towards acquiring permanent supportive housing. Most adults in the shelter live with a disabling condition. You must be at least 18 to volunteer and attend a volunteer orientation. Please email to find out information on the next available orientation and other requirements.
Come show our residents that you care by coming to help serve them dinner at our Village transitional shelter. Lamp Community ends homelessness of Los Angeles' most vulnerable individuals, primarily adults with mental illness, through a continuum of services and housing, enabling them to reach their highest level of self-sufficiency and community integration.
Shifts are 4:30 pm-6:30 pm and there is a minimum requirement of one shift per week.
