We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym was founded to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. As the only kid’s gym that offers an inclusive philosophy we have found all children can benefit from our uniquely designed sensory equipment, music, and art.  

Our outstanding committed volunteers are the key component to make our gym a success. Requirements

• Enthusiasm to work with All children, with All abilities

• Lively Playful Friendly Personality

• Patient

• Previous experiences working with children (preferable children with special needs and without)

• Customer Service Experience

• Able and Willing to follow necessary instructions

• Assist with Birthday Parties, Playdates and other Special Events

• Reliable

• Ability to Multitask

• Professional Public Demeanor

• Availability on weekends 

• Willing to Learn & Grow with Us

• Previous experience in dance, camp, education, special education, behavior technicians, drama, movement, sports, music, and art a bonus

Duties 

• Interact & Play with children/teens/adults with special needs and all abilities

• Monitor gym activity

• Assist in Art & Music Classes

• Coach & Assist in Open Play

• Create Craft Projects

• Perform Clerical Administrative Work

• Assist with Hosting Birthday Parties

• Clean/Maintain facility inside and outside related to child care, including cleaning up after meals in the party room, organizing/cleaning play areas, and taking out the trash, wiping down counter tops, vacuuming, and mopping
