This is an AmeriCorps VISTA position which is part of a national service program sponsor by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). The AmeriCorps VISTA member serves for a year of service as a full-time volunteer with the BruinCorps project. This project places VISTA members in local schools to cultivate a college going culture. Members receive a modest living allowance while in service and are eligible for a Segal Education Award of $5775.
