Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Jun 19, 2016
Last Day: Aug 18, 2016
Spend your winter break in Israel- making a difference for the Israeli people and the world. Ever wanted to experience Israel as an insider or explore another country with almost all expenses paid? Volunteers for Israel (VFI) provides just the opportunity. Through VFI, volunteers from all over the USA travel to Israel to give their support to its soldiers and bases. Volunteers help provide upkeep to the base, assemble medical supply kits, serve food, and just get to know the faces behind the Israeli Defense Force (IDF)- mostly college aged youth who strive to protect their families and country while lending a hand to citizens of other countries around the world.
While you can volunteer with VFI any time of the year, the opportunity to volunteer with college aged students happens only in winter and summer. This winter from December 27, 2015- January 7, 2016, youth, ages 17-25, from across the world will be volunteering in Israel with VFI.
While trip participants are responsible for purchasing their own airfare, once you arrive in Israel, all of your expenses relating to the program are covered, that includes: round trip domestic transportation to volunteer sites,
• 3 meals a day
• Accommodations
• Group activities
• Weekend volunteer hostel next to Tel Aviv (Thursday-Saturday night)
Spend New Year’s in Israel! We are accepting applications on a rolling basis through Tuesday, December 1.
Application available here : http://vfi-usa.org/Files/VFI_Forms_3.2.15_new.pdf
Which you can email to Anna Krasko at akrasko@vfi-usa.org.
I really hope you’ll apply. It would be great to have you join us this winter break! Please let me know if you have any questions!
