2019 SMMC Disaster Drill

December 3rd, 2019

Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Dec 3, 2019
Last Day: Dec 3, 2019

We are currently planning the 2019 Statewide Medical & Health Disaster Drill for UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019. It will be in the morning (approximately 6am-12pm). We are hoping to have 50 total volunteers assist us by acting as patients to help provide a surge of patients seeing care to our Emergency Room staff. The volunteers will want to wear clothing that might get make-up on it, as we will have make-up artists making our volunteers appear injured. This assists in making the event a bit more realistic.

Volunteer Request Details:

Number of Volunteers: 50

Date/Time: Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019

Where: UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center

Special Instructions: clothing that might get make-up on it, as we will have make-up artists making our volunteers appear injured.
Your assistance with this request is most appreciated, as it will help our hospital teams practice their skills in managing a large influx of patients.
