Spare Key provides assistance to families in crisis with critically ill or seriously injured family members through housing grant payment assistance, engaged resource referral and advocacy.
I am writing to see if we might work with your organization in securing additional volunteers to support our efforts at the PGA.
Spare Key receives a donation from our partner, Prom Levy Golf, for every volunteer shift we secure for the PGA. These funds are then used to help support our program mission to serve more families.
For those volunteering it is a FREE event and gives them a great opportunity to see PGA Championship golf up close.
The shifts generally are an early morning shift that begins around 7:00 a.m., a mid-morning shift that begins around 9:00 a.m. and an afternoon shift that starts around 10:00 a.m. These shifts may be altered slightly as the event gets closer and we will make sure that any volunteer is made aware of those changes immediately.
Given your organization’s location near the event itself I thought there might be a potential for us to work with you and your Team to recruit volunteers for this event.
Spare Key would take responsibility for managing all aspects of the volunteer effort, including coordinating shifts, communicating logistics and making the process simple and easy for you and your company.
I am grateful for your consideration of this request and/or if you would be willing to forward it to another person in your organization if you believe there is a better contact fit.
I would, of course, be pleased to answer any questions you may have about this great opportunity!
