LAHSA’s mission is to support, create and sustain solutions to homelessness in Los Angeles County by providing leadership, advocacy, planning, and management of program funding. Every year, LAHSA conducts a census of the homeless population through the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. The Count helps us better understand homelessness in our region and direct resources where they’re needed most. We need at least 8,000 volunteers to canvas more than 80 cities and 200 communities across LA County.
You can now register for the Count, which will take place January 22-24, 2019 at www.theycountwillyou.org.
Typically, volunteers are needed for 3-4 hours on the night/morning of the Count.
