You can make an impact in the lives of homeless men, women and children by volunteering for the 2013 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. Volunteers are needed throughout Los Angeles County from January 29-31. By knowing who and where homeless people are in Los Angeles County, we are better able to plan and identify resources to move individuals and families into permanent housing.
Volunteers will gather at deployment sites in their own communities across Greater Los Angeles to receive training and then go out in teams by car or on foot to visually count the number of homeless persons living in a specified area.
