If you are a continuing student or graduate student, consider participating in a Volunteer Day activity to give back to the UCLA community and inspire incoming students. Choose one of three opportunities below that fit your schedule on Monday, September 19.
1. Serve as a Task Captain for one of 50 sites across Los Angeles
8 am – 2 pm | Sites across Los Angeles
Leaders assist with the management and supervision of a service project. Meet and lead UCLA’s newest students while making an impact on a local nonprofit organization. If you would like to get involved as a project leader and make a difference with us during this year’s volunteer day, just fill out the leadership form!
2. Recruit Volunteers for your student service organization through ServeFest
12:30 pm – 3 pm | Intramural Field
Send 2-3 representatives from your group to network as new students return from Volunteer Day ready to sign up for future service opportunities.
3. Participate in an On-Campus Service Project
11:30 am – 1 pm | James West Alumni Center
This opportunity is perfect for those with limited availability and those who want to make their lunch break meaningful! Drop in for a short service project featuring letter writing for Operation Gratitude and hat making for Hats Off for Cancer.
