On Saturday, Sept. 29, the UCLA Volunteer Center will celebrate the 10th annual anniversary of Volunteer Day. Different from past years, this Volunteer Day brings exciting changes that engages more Bruins in more places than ever before. This year, all members of the UCLA community will have the opportunity to participate in projects.
As one of the nation’s largest community participation event for new students, Volunteer Day has become a cornerstone of the UCLA experience because of the passion that drives it. To honor the 10th anniversary of the event, the Center invites the following Bruins to register as volunteers: alumni, new and returning students, graduate students, staff, faculty, and other community members.
UCLA community members are also hosting Volunteer Day sites across the nation and around the world, making the event accessible to Bruins everywhere. Explore the list of Volunteer Day project sites to find one near you.
With volunteers set to participate in dozens of service sites around campus, Los Angeles, and the world, this year’s Volunteer Day will truly show the world how #BruinsGiveBack. Make sure to register for a volunteer day site by September 15 deadline. To register, visit http://volunteerday.ucla.edu/register.
