Donate at the UCLA Blood & Platelet Center

Did you know that 1 donation can potentially save up to 3 lives, and that every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. We are asking the UCLA community to donate blood and platelets. The UCLA Blood & Platelet Center is responsible for providing a healthy blood component supply for patients at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and the Santa Monica UCLA Hospital. Make the appointment today!

First time donors who donate from September 21 - October 2 at the UCLA Ackerman location will also receive a UCLA shirt as an additional gift.

Age Requirement: Volunteers under the age of 16 will need parental consent to donate.
