Surfrider Foundation / UCLA SAA - Beach Cleanup

The Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles Chapter is a grassroots non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves and beaches. In partnership with UCLA SAA, UCLA volunteers will help clean the Venice Beach Breakwater area by engaging in one of their public beach cleanups. While we cannot clean ourselves out of the plastic pollution pandemic, these beach cleanups serve to raise awareness and inspire individuals to adopt upstream solutions to stop plastic waste at the source, primarily through everyday consumer choices and legislative advocacy.
