Six Presidents’ Day Volunteer Opportunities

February 8th, 2016

Celebrate the upcoming long weekend by volunteering!  The Volunteer Center has gathered a list of service opportunities throughout Greater Los Angeles that will take place between February 13 and February 15.

With the Los Angeles Marathon taking place, many organizations are seeking participants to cheer on the runners. Support a group that complements your areas of interest, or take the opportunity to explore new organizations. In addition to the LA Marathon, Grooming for Success is honoring Presidents’ Day by providing free haircuts for veterans in Downtown Los Angeles.

For more information about Presidents’ Day projects or to submit another project happening in your neighborhood, visit the Center’s Volunteer Opportunity Database.
