Runyon Canyon Park
Friends of Runyon Canyon, Shine LA, UCLA Volunteer Center, and Community Climate Action Day (CCAD) – Los Angeles County are combining efforts to bring together community members to take meaningful action in support of Los Angeles County's green spaces and natural environment. Through hands-on climate service projects like invasive species removal, this event aims to restore native habitat, improve biodiversity, reduce wildfire risk, and strengthen the long-term health and resilience of Runyon Canyon Park. By engaging volunteers in hands-on climate action, we promote sustainable practices that strengthen our communities' resilience to climate change while creating lasting environmental benefits throughout Los Angeles County.
