Robertson Recreation Center

Robertson Recreation Center is a City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks facility serving children, teens, adults, families, and community members of all ages and abilities through recreational programs, youth and adult sports, classes, camps, special events, and open community spaces.

For ROBERTSON PARK BEAUTIFICATION DAY, UCLA volunteers will work in small teams on a variety of hands-on projects to clean, refresh, and beautify our community park. Projects will include general park cleanup, litter removal, sweeping, weeding, landscaping and garden preparation, and other outdoor beautification activities.

Additional projects we are working toward include establishing community garden beds with flowers and greenery; refreshing donated outdoor furniture, trash/recycling receptacles, and our outdoor storage container; and creating a community lending library for books and toys.

Time: 9am - 12pm

(Please be aware that the time listed is for the actual service project. If you are taking the bus to the project site, we will ask volunteers to meet at a central location beginning at 7am for breakfast and to account for travel time to the project site.)
