PS Science

PS Science supports classroom teachers in Title I elementary schools around Los Angeles with materials, curriculum, and training so they can provide their students with regular and on-going science. Join a fun group for volunteerism in the name of science for kids! Instead of packing meals, you’ll be packing hands-on science lesson materials for the science hungry kids of our city! PS Science brings hands-on science lessons to over 5,000 kids at under-resourced elementary schools each week. That’s a lot of stuff to get ready and they can use the help.

Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm PST

(Please be aware that the time listed is for the actual service project. If you are taking the bus to the project site, we will ask volunteers to meet at a central location from 7:30am - 7:45am for breakfast and to account for travel time to the project site.)
