Children’s Village Thailand is welcoming compassionate volunteers to support our nursery, working with children ages 0–6 during their most important early years.
Our school is inspired by the Summerhill approach—a child-centered model that values self-directed learning, emotional well-being, and a strong sense of community. We care for orphaned and underprivileged children, offering a safe, nurturing environment where they are free to grow, explore, and learn at their own pace without pressure.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a supportive, purpose-driven community while making a meaningful impact in a child’s life.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to:
✅ Gain hands-on teaching experience in a unique, student-led learning environment
✅ Support our youngest students in developing English communication skills
✅ Immerse themselves in Thai culture while working with underprivileged youth

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from everyone with a skillset to offer, particularly education students, recent graduates, and certified teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching and open to new cultural experiences. Prior teaching experience is a plus but not required.

Program Details:
📍 Location: Moo Baan Dek School, Kanchanaburi(Province), Thailand
📅 Duration: Ongoing 2026 (exact dates flexible) minimum 6 week commitment required
💡 Covered Costs: We now offer grants for U.S. citizens. Aside from airfare, all logistics including accommodation, meals, insurance, and on-site transportation will be fully funded by Friends of Children's Village Thailand, a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting Children's Village and its mission of providing holistic education to vulnerable children.
