Volunteer at CicLAvia—South LA (Western Ave)!

CicLAvia is seeking both individuals and groups to volunteer at CicLAvia—South LA on Sunday, June 23rd. CicLAvia produces a temporary car-free day that transforms streets into safe spaces for thousands of people to explore the city by foot, bike, and other forms of transport. This event will transform 5 miles of Western Avenue into a public park for the day.

Volunteers help create a fun and safe environment for participants. Duties include:

• Provide event information to CicLAvia participants

• Ask participants to dismount, slow down, or follow other traffic instructions

• Sign participants up to CicLAvia’s mailing list and free drawing

• Assist Hub Staff with hub setup, breakdown, and maintenance

• Groups: Stop or slow down participants at car crossing intersections and slow zones

Volunteer shifts: Morning (8:30am-11:30am), Afternoon (11am-2pm), or Late Afternoon (1:30pm-3:30pm)
