Step Up is a nonprofit organization providing FREE virtual tutoring to under-resourced elementary school students (3rd-6th grade) within the Los Angeles United School District and beyond. Our educational movement was founded after seeing students fall even further behind during the pandemic. It is critical that students get the support they need to catch up now. Step Up Tutoring is fueled by volunteers and needs your help to change more student’s lives! No prior tutoring experience necessary. All training and resources are provided.
Step Up Tutors conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions through zoom, twice a week for 45 minutes with their student/s. Tutors help support students in math and English. Additionally, tutors provide mentorship and encouragement. - Website:
