If you haven't heard of Exploring Your Universe (EYU), it is a volunteer-led science outreach event at UCLA that happens every year on the first Sunday in November. It is a free event and a fun-filled day of science activities with the goal of making science accessible to the public.

All volunteers will receive lunch and a t-shirt!!

You can choose to volunteer at an interactive science booths, science talks, a planetarium, or the nighttime telescopes. With over a hundred science activities ranging from extracting strawberry DNA to answering “Are we alone in the universe?”, many volunteers are needed to help support all the activities at EYU. Volunteering is a fun and rewarding experience as you will be able to work directly with kids and help to inspire the next generation of scientists.

Volunteer signups are currently open and due on Friday, October 14th.

All information will be posted on our website under the EYU 2022 tab.
