CicLAvia is seeking both individuals and groups to volunteer at CicLAvia—Venice Blvd on Sunday, April 21. CicLAvia produces a temporary car-free day that transforms streets into safe spaces for thousands of people to explore the city by foot, bike, and other forms of transport. This event will open and activate over 5 miles of Venice Blvd.
Volunteers help create a fun and safe environment for participants. Duties include:
• Provide event information to CicLAvia participants
• Ask participants to dismount, slow down, or follow other traffic instructions
• Sign participants up to CicLAvia’s mailing list and conduct Metro's Open Street Participant survey
• Assist Hub Staff with hub setup, breakdown, and maintenance
• Groups: Stop or slow down participants at car crossing intersections and slow zones*
