Opportunity Description:
CicLAvia is seeking both individuals and groups to volunteer at CicLAvia—South LA: Leimert Park to Historic South Central on Sunday, December 3. CicLAvia produces a temporary car-free day that transforms streets into safe spaces for thousands of people to explore the city by foot, bike, and other forms of transport. This event will open and activate portions of Martin Luther King Blvd, Central Ave, and Crenshaw Blvd.

Volunteers help create a fun and safe environment for participants. Duties include:

• Provide event information to CicLAvia participants

• Ask participants to dismount, slow down, or follow other traffic instructions

• Sign participants up to CicLAvia’s mailing list and free drawing and conduct Metro's Open Streets survey

• Assist Hub Staff with hub setup, breakdown, and maintenance

• Groups: Stop or slow down participants at car crossing intersections and slow zones*
