On Saturday, April 24th, join other students and volunteers from across the City of Los Angeles on cleaning and greening and building projects in honor of Earth Day 2025. It is a part of an on-going effort called Service Day LA: Together LA Shines. Mayor Karen Bass, Councilmember Katy Young Yaroslavsky, and School Board member Sherlett Kendy Newbill will be at the closest project to campus at Palms Middle School, a local LAUSD school. The link below will connect you to five additional sites across the city if you want to venture further into LA. Open the link, click on sign up, pick a site, register for a great community event and get your friends to sign-up too.
