READING TO KIDS
Opportunity Description
Volunteers must be 18 or older to volunteer with Reading to Kids.
Reading to Kids organizes monthly reading clubs on the second Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at eight downtown Los Angeles elementary schools. Pairs of volunteers read aloud to small groups of students (typically between 4 and 6 children per group) in a fun environment.

Volunteers for the reading clubs are encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Wearing a mask while indoors at the reading clubs is highly encouraged. The kids will also be encouraged to wear masks while indoors.
