APCH 2023 Home for the Holidays EVENT Volunteer Details

• Volunteer Schedule: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Project Location: APCH MAIN CAMPUS building (2830 S. Central Ave., LA, CA 90011)
• Project Objective: Volunteers will support setup, facilitation and breakdown of an annual event that provides toys, tasty treats, a chance to meet Santa, and lots of festive fun for more than 1,000 members of our South Central community
• Please Note:
• The APCH team will guide volunteers throughout the event
• Volunteer roles will primarily take place outdoors
• Snacks and refreshments will be provided for volunteers
• Activities may include moving, bending, light-medium lifting and extended periods of standing
• Please let the APCH team know if there is anything we can do to make this project more comfortable for you
APCH Volunteer Requirements for December 2023 Events
• Age Requirement: minimum 10 years of age (volunteers younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperone)
• Form Requirements: for volunteers 18 and older: completion of and adherence to A Place Called Home’s VOLUNTEER AND INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR RELEASE OF LIABILITY form; for volunteers younger than 18: completion (by a parent/guardian) of and adherence to A Place Called Home’s VOLUNTEER AND INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR RELEASE OF LIABILITY form
