Start Date:
Sun, 04/02/23
Location:
Local Beach
Time Details:
2 hours - can be more or less
Opportunity Description:
Ocean Blue Project is working with 5,000 volunteers to clean up our one world Ocean in 2023. Our goal is to remove 5 million pounds of plastic by 2025! We’re asking folks to Be Beyond Green this Earth Month! Go Blue! by being an Ocean Blue Cleanup Crew Leader!

When you Create a CleanUp at your favorite local beach, lake, river, stream or neighborhood, you keep litter out of our one world Ocean.

Keep in mind, everything goes downhill when we have flooding or wind. Litter from street drains, urban streams, rivers and lakes all end up flowing to the ocean over time. You can help clean up the Ocean no matter how inland you live!

We are looking for University students to Create a CleanUp at your favorite local beach. You can sign up here: https://oceanblueproject.org/ocean-cleanup-volunteer-beach-cleanup/

There is no minimum number of volunteers needed and an Ocean Blue Team Member will guide you through every step of the way. Thank you for considering volunteering!
