Los Angeles Food Bank - Wildfire Relief
Opportunity Description
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is working with government agencies, nonprofit and faith-based partners and others to respond to the fires throughout Los Angeles County.
The Food Bank is accepting financial donations and food donations at our two distribution centers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, located at: 1734 East 41st Street Los Angeles, California 90058 & 2300 Pellissier Place Industry, CA 90601.
The Food Bank continues to accept volunteers. For more information, go to LAFoodBank.org/volunteer. For more information on Food Drives, please contact Camryn Gordon at cgordon@lafoodbank.org. The following are food and non-food items needed by our community at this time:
Non-food Items (must be new, in original packaging): Diapers (babies & adults), Wipes (preferably flushable), Toilet Tissue, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Kids KN95 Masks, Paper Towels, Lotion, Soap, Deodorant, Shampoo (preferably waterless)
Food items:
Peanut and other Nut Butters
Crackers
Peanut Butter Crackers
Cheese Crackers
Trail Mix
Fruit Snacks
Energy Bars
Pop Top Tuna
Pop Top Chicken
100% Juice Boxes
Raisins and other Dried Fruit
UHT Milk
Individual Cereal Boxes
16-20 oz water
Non-carbonated drinks
Many organizations locally coordinate disaster response during times of disaster, including the American Red Cross, 211LA, Habitat for Humanity, The Salvation Army and others through Emergency Network Los Angeles. Please consider supporting our many disaster response partners.
