Opportunity Description
The Downtown Women's Center, in partnership with the LA County Board of Supervisors, Urban Initiatives, and Urban Institute, is recruiting volunteers for the 8th Women’s Needs Assessment, a community-engaged research project focused on documenting and learning about the experiences, needs, and preferences of women facing homelessness across Los Angeles.
DWC is seeking volunteers to administer surveys to women experiencing homelessness over the course of approximately four weeks between late October and mid November. Volunteer shifts will be 3-4 hours, not including transit time, with volunteer opportunities available all across LA County.
Volunteers are required to attend a one-hour live virtual training session in advance of their volunteer shift. Specific volunteer shift dates, times, and locations TBD as we confirm partnerships with agencies across the county. If you're interested in volunteering, click here to sign up and to register for a mandatory volunteer training session.
