Spend a morning with BlueSky LA and Eco Urban Gardens at La Madera Community Garden to help beautify the garden, plant some trees and native plants.
IMPACT
On August 5th, 2023, BlueSky LA (BSLA) is partnering with Eco Urban Gardens and La Madera Community Garden in El Monte to help beautify the community garden, plant several trees on site and native shrubs.
VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
o Remove greenhouse
o Beautify the garden- clean up and prune trees and bushes
o Remove existing trees and replace with new trees
o Install native plants
o Trail restoration (resize and flag plots)
REQUIREMENTS
There are no requirements; we just ask that volunteers come with an open mind and a willingness to learn!
