Opportunity Description:: You will be set up at the Food and Beverage Tent. Your job duties include setting the area up, cutting bagels, displaying food and beverage items on the table(s), and passing out items to participants. Please be sure to keep the area clean and orderly throughout the event—we want it to look appealing! Keep ice buckets stocked with beverages & orange containers filled with water, but do not open more packs of water than you need at one time. Store extra boxes under the tables, preferably with table cloths covering them. Make sure to wear gloves at all times while handling food. If anyone appearing to be homeless asks for food, you can inform them that they are welcome to return around 1:30 pm to see if there are leftovers but that food is for participants only. Please note that there are security personnel on site to help address any issues with the homeless population. Additionally, if you see any participants appearing to take more than their fair share of food, please notify a member of staff immediately.
