Opportunity Description
NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is looking for hard-working individuals to help run our monthly film festivals in Downtown Los Angeles. There are a variety of positions and duties available including ushering, front-desk check-in, red carpet talent wrangling, managing the floor and managing the theatre door.
Our event will be held at the South Park Center in Downtown Los Angeles (1139 S. Hill Street, Los Angeles 90015). Parking is available at 1133 S. Olive Street, 90015 (validations are provided).
Volunteers can work any or all of the following shifts:
- The Day Before the Festival: 2pm-7pm (setup)
- The Day of the Festival: 10:30am-4pm (shift 1), 4pm-12am (shift 2), and an all-day shift with breaks.
There will be a short volunteer orientation around your arrival time. Please don't miss this!
Dinner and drinks will be provided on your breaks, as well as the opportunity to watch the film festival when you're off-shift!
Bring your friends! We can never have too many people volunteer!
