CicLAvia is seeking both individuals and groups to volunteer at CicLAvia—Koreatown meets Hollywood on Sunday, August 20. CicLAvia produces a temporary car-free day that transforms streets into open spaces for thousands of people to explore the city by foot, bike, and other forms of transport. Folks can attend this free community event to bike, skate, walk, scoot, or enjoy the route however they want! This event will connect Hollywood to Koreatown via 5 miles of open streets.
Volunteers help create a fun and safe environment for participants. Duties include:
• Provide event information to CicLAvia participants
• Ensure participant safety by reminding them to dismount, slow down, or follow other traffic instructions
• Sign participants up to CicLAvia’s mailing list and conduct Metro's Open Street Participant survey
• Assist Hub Staff with hub setup, breakdown, and maintenance
• Groups: Stop or slow down participants at car crossing intersections and slow zones
