We support literacy by finding new homes for books. Booksustain collects gently used books for children, teens and adults and donates them to community service organizations, like homeless shelters and foster care centers, as well as organizations providing literacy programs in Los Angeles.
As a volunteer you would help us:
Solicit books from book sellers, libraries, and other organizations donating books
Build partnerships with organizations in need of books
Assist in book drives
Collect books
Sort books
Deliver books to the organizations we partner with
Read to our book recipients
