Become a Tutor & Mentor for Homeless Children

Opportunity Description
Education can change the trajectory of a life. School on Wheels connects YOU with a student experiencing homelessness to provide 1:1 academic support through tutoring and mentorship so every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Tutoring is available accross Southern California, both in-person and virtually and typically takes place for one hour a week. No teaching or tutoring experience required - we provide training, curriculum and ongoing support so you can best support your student!
The process to become a volunteer includes a few easy steps: fill out our application, attend a virtual training, provide two references, and complete a background check.
